Production Accountancy

We are proud to help our film and television clients to deliver projects on budget. Our clients use us as we provide a seamless experience:
 

  • Affect are all ACCA qualified accountants so quality of reports perfect

  • Affect ensure no issues with creditors or bank/VAT reconciliations being incorrect

  • Affect can accelerate repayment of tax credit saving finance costs

  • Affect are available throughout the project – we don’t move onto the next thing

  • Affect have depth of expertise in areas of financing and tax credits
     

How Affect will help you

  • Set the SPV up on our software

  • Register for VAT (and PAYE as applicable) if not already done

  • Review the budget and import into our software

  • Have a conference call with you to connect the bank account to our software

  • Send an Excel sheet to be completed for each employee (if applicable) so we can set them up on payroll

  • Provide a letter for employees (if applicable) to sign to opting-out of pension auto-enrolment

  • Circulate a payroll report (if applicable) at the end of each period and email payslips to employees.

  • Provide a .csv file for all payroll payments (if applicable) which your bank can import to automate the payment and prevent typos

  • Issue Fair FX cards to persons who do not want per diems in their bank accounts

  • Issue a guide to all HoD’s about how to supply us with invoices and incidental receipts

  • Prepare a variance report on a regular basis to see how the project is progressing against budget

  • Prepare and file VAT returns on a regular basis to recover input VAT

  • Provide a list of payments to be made each week with payment to be arranged by the company.
